Sue
and I were raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and after completing our
Master’s Degrees at LSU and UCLA we moved to Tallulah, Louisiana
where I worked for 31 years as a County Agent and Sue retired
as Madison Parish Child Nutrition Supervisor.
We have
two sons, Scott, married to Tiffney and they have a daughter Bailey.
Scott is a Tech Representative for John Deere and Tiffney is a
Registered Nurse. They live in Bastrop, Louisiana
Curt and
Brianne are both attorneys and practice in New Orleans.
Ever
since we have been in Tallulah we have raised animals. At one time
we had a herd of Angus cattle and a flock of sheep. We have always
had a Registered Quarter Horse or two. Presently we have three and
two ponies for Bailey. Our two sons were very active in the 4-H
program successfully showing Angus cattle, steers and sheep.
I have
always been interested in poultry and have raise show chickens off
and on. As we approach retirement we have decided we needed to
continue breeding quality animals and producing quality offspring
that we could offer for sale. I have always had an interest in
Peacocks so after getting a pair we were hooked and joined the
United Peafowl Association and attended the national convention.
That did it we now have seven breeding pens and need to build seven
more.
Sue
wanted a companion pet for the house. We had bred German Shepherds
for several years and as we age they became too strong and difficult
to control for Sue. She had always liked Poodles, so it was a
natural. They have become a part of the family and we now are having
litters that we offer for sale to loving homes.
Please
contact us and we would like to help you find a loving pet for your
home or a beautiful peacock to enjoy.
